Spring Awakening

This production had been stripped back to a basic form with the bare minimum amount of set and props which gave it an extremely intimate and intense feel… There was a real energy on the stage and this came from the total commitment and conviction of the twelve performers who really understand the importance of working as an ensemble and clearly enjoy their craft. – Rob Pudner, SoundArtRadio

Pregnant Fish’s acoustic take on Sater & Sheik’s ‘Spring Awakening‘ premiered at the Bike Shed Theatre, Exeter, before a run at Angel Centre, Worcester in association with ReThink.

In conjunction with The University of Worcester, Pregnant Fish took a programme of workshops and excerpts based on the young people’s issues in Spring Awakening to Worcester and Gloucester colleges in September 2011.
